Purplish Pink Swing

Hey guys!! Long time, no see! College is taking the best of me this time of year....I'm in full exam session :D. But i do have for you today a new look, perfect for summer, tanned skin and partys on the beach!

This look is great for brown eyes, but it will make any eye color stand out. You will see that I reshaped my eye...You can do the same or keep your natural shape. I'll tell you how! I will also post a picture with the colors I used and in what order, so you can find them in your own pallet or substitutes. ( You don't have to use the same products I use!!)

So here we go:
Place some tape from the outer corner of the eye toward the end of your eyebrows, in order to create a clean, sharp make-up line.

Start with a light shimmery pink and use it on the entire lid. Don't go higher from the crease or in the inner corner. In the crease put a darker pink and blend it well. We don't want the color to show, just to create dimension.

Now...in order to recreate the shape of the eye take a plum color and place it right above the crease. A simpler way is to look straight into the mirror and with a fluffy angled brush, create a line above your natural crease fold and blend up. Do not connect the end of your eye with the new line we made. Take again the darker pink and defuse the plum color, going up.

With a white, infused with pink, shadow, clean the area under the "new crease". Don't use much because we want to keep the colors we used before. Now you can connect the line from the plum shadow with the corner of your eye, going under it half your eye.

Coming back to the inner corner, put a shimmery white shade and blend with the light pink. Place it also under your eye and blend it with the plum. Close to the tear-duct and under the eyebrow use a mat white to brighten up the eye.

You can stop here if you want a lighter look, but I personally went a little bit darker. With a darker shade of plum, also infused with gold, I retraced the previous plum color and darkened it up.

Last bit not least, I lined my water line with a black liner and my upper lash line with gel liner. If you still have the tape from the beginning, this will be of great help to make a great cat eye effect. Take the tape off and blend a little under if you think the line is too sharp. Mascara or, if you want, add false eyelashes...they would work like a charm in this case. You still have to use mascara even so, to blend your natural lashed to the false ones.

For my face, I used my same routine, but added a little bit more bronzer and a wine blush. Also went one shade darker for my foundation ( I'm still stark white...so I'll just fake it a lil'; if you want to do this, use fondation also on your neck and chest and don't pick a too far off color from your natural skin tone).

As for my lips, I user a pinky nude color liner and also a more nude pink lipstick. But, in order to step it up, I used a ruby red gloss :). You can use a variety of pinks, but take care not to go too dark because we already have a lot going on the eyes.

And thus been said....your done!!
