The neutral zone

So we kinda saw how to do an easy, simple, not too much time consuming looks. But what if you have the time and the products to do a more detailed look?Keep your eyes opened because I'm going to show what to do!

With the help of my friend and colleague, I did a very casual look. Her eye color has a lot of shades, changing from blue to gray, to green or a light brown. She has a wonderfull hair color with natural highlights (every hair dresser told her not dye it or cut it...you can see why). But she kinda has a skin issue...her skin get's really dry if she doesn't moisturize properly. Thus been said, I moisturized the face, applied a primer, foundation, a light concealer around her eyes and nostrils, a little drop of cream blush to look more natural (always, ALWAYS apply creams on creams, not on powders; it will look muddy if you do that; so apply cream blushes on foundations, not powders, not another blush or bronzing powder). I lightly dusted some powder to fix it all an contoured her cheek bones with a bronzing powder. To highlight, I used on her a light powder, but don't over do it on your skin. You don't want to be a disco ball. ( you can also use cream highlight, but again...cream on cream, not cream on powder).
Now here comes the tricky part, the eyes. I say tricky because, if you are a starter, it could be a little hard. But if you are even just a little experienced you will do it. Take a black (or brown ) crayon and line above your lash line, as close as you can (don't look straight into the mirror, tilt your head a little on your back, looking into the mirror like a queen on her subjects :D). Keep a strait and uninterrupted line and stop when your lases stop. Don't force the crayon on your skin and don't pull the delicate skin if you don't want premature wrinkles. We want a thin line. Now take your eyeshadows. I used on her a mat mauve with gold infused pigments and placed it on her entire mobile lid. The line we made early should be blended enough, but still show the dimension. Now take a medium brown and place it above the lash line, into the outer "V" corner, blending it for no harsh lines and under the lower lashlines. Take a light shimmery color (white, beige, vanilla) and put on the inner corner and under the eyebrow to highlight the area. Mascara and your done :D.

What I used:

Face: * Missha The Style, Silky soft base;
* Artistry Self-Defining Sheer Foundation, shade Buff;
* ELF Clarifying Pressed Powder, shade Tone 2;
* Miss Sporty Bronzing Powder;
* ELF Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder, shade Luminance;
* Miss Sporty Creamy Blush, shade Bare;
Eyes: * Farmasi eye pencil, shade 110;
* Maybelline quad, shade Chocolate Mousse (medium brown and eye highlight color);
* Dior pallet, sorry I don't know the name of the pallet or that of the colors (mauve);

* Oriflame Beauty, Wonder Lash Mascara;
Eye Brows: * Essence eyebrow kit, lighter shade;
* Farmasi clear mascara;
Lips: as you can see she has nothing on her lips, because my "model" wanted to have a bite to eat before she left. But I would have used : Rimmel London , shade Airy Fairy and a Stila lip glaze, shade Grapefruit.

As for her hair...well that is saved for another day.

Hope you enjoy,

Kissu
