Big eyes versus Small eyes Tutorial

Everybody want to reshape something on their complexion. We already saw how you can change your bone structure with shading and highlighting. Today we are going to apply the same principles, but on our eyes.

It is widely known that black make a figure look smaller and close to white colors make a more bright appearance. With this mind let's start: ( I do mention that some people can have weird eyes like me, such that darker color makes the eye bigger and brighter colors makes the eyes smaller...bare with us ).

How to make small eyes to big eyes:

Start with skin colors, white shadow and pencil and a defining mascara. Apply the flesh tone shadow on the lid, blending it a little up to the brow. Apply a good, waterproof, white pencil on the inner lower lash line (if you don't own a white pencil you can put a somewhat sticky pencil with a lighter color or even concealer and apply shadow on it; it will last all day). With a slightly shimmery white shadow go around the inner corner of your eyes, on the lashline and under the brow. Take a golden brown color and blend it in the crease and place a mid tone brown in the inner corner of the eye and diffuse it in the crease. To not touch the flesh color because it will darken the color. With the same mid tone brown go under the white from the lower lashline and blend it out.

The effect is to create a bigger rim of the eye and thus creating a bigger eye globe.
How to make big eyes look smaller:

Start with a dark color like gunpowder, a dark gray, a dark navy, a dark green or anything else that is dark and you prefer. Don't use black for a day look, because it will show harsh. This is also a easy way to make a fast smokey eye. Apply it on the lid and diffuse it in the crease. I used a very dark gray brown. To make it appear faded, I also used a lighter gray brown, in the crease, blending the hard edge of the color before. Line both your lower waterline as your upper one.
This will make the eye appear smaller. Also with the dark color blend the pencil on the lower lashline and after that, blend the dark color with the lighter one. 3 to 4 coats of mascara....and your done!!

I look like I have a black eye with the full face on.
On either of the looks you can apply liquid eye liner. A thin line on the white one (to make the lashes appear bigger and fuller) and a thick line on the dark eye, to close the eye even more. You can also use other colors in both cases, but you should range in light and dark.

Hope it was helpful!Have a nice weekend!
Kissu.
